Challenge: Vanishing Point II (Basic Editing)
Camera: Panasonic DMC-FZ30
Location: Delray Beach, FL
Date: May 9, 2007
Galleries: Architecture
Date Uploaded: May 10, 2007

I know the actual vanishing point isn't visible here. But I hope the implication that it is behind the "no trespassing" sign will be acceptable to some voters. I expect the combination of a dramatic composition, strong colors, and DNMC to yield a score around 5.1.

Post-processing -
Shot in RAW. Adjusted exposure. Usual PS basic editing steps: crop, levels, curves, saturation, noise reduction, sharpening, border, resizing, and saving for web.

Great shot, Juli, I gave this a 9 - love the bold color play and abstract quality.

I think what I like about this shot the most is the almost abstractness of it. Good job.

I remember this wall! Love the slope of the roof and the patterns created by the a/c's and window bars. I feel like painting an abstract on the side of my house now :)

I love this photo. The blown out sky works so well and you have used it so effectively! I kinda wish the air conditioners were not there, and the trees so that the composition would have been simpler, but I'm not voteing down for it. I think you have captured this scene so well and used what you had that I'm going to give you a 10.

The vanishing point is not really obvious here.

I like the colors and the unique choice of vanishing point to fit the theme.
