OMG, thats a long way up with no cage around the ladder, lol. Local grain elevator perspective shot.

Yes, another in a long string of overcast, rainy, tornado threating days...

Lol - I am with Sandy - climb the ladder and then take a pic! Great perspective - I feel a sense of vertigo coming on! The contrast on the ladder is awesome!

Are you not supposed to climb it on the inside? Seems safer to me, if you could fit into it. Very cool and intimidating perspective!

This is awe-inspiring. I love the angle and perspective. The repeating patterns and curves at the top make this shot.

when i looked at the thumb - I had no idea what this was! Sweet perspective. Did you try climbing it to get a better view? I really enjoy the lighting - especially the shadow behind the ladder - nice contrast for the rest of the elevator

I love the POV on this, again you have really capture the feeling of height. Almost feels like with a bit of cropping it could have been an entry for the vanishing point competition.

Ok. . tomorrow, let's see onen taken from the top step on the ladder looking down :) Juuuuuuust kidding! I've had to do that sort of thing for some of the work pictures I have to take -- and it scares me to DEATH!

The perspective on this is amazing! What a very cool, interesting photo!

Wow - what a perspective. I like the strong contrast between the rungs and the broad sides of the silos. Good detail in the concrete. The way you framed it really makes an impact. I would perhaps try to shift the image ever so slight ccw - .5 degree or less. Looks a bit off level at the top corners, but I can't tell what that would do to the perception of the ladder - maybe it would work, maybe not.
