 I was going for high contrast again here, with hopefully a silvery appearance.

I loved the effect the Alien Skin "calotype" black and white filter had, but wanted to see if I could do something similar myself. I think I like the result!

Processing:

Started from a jpeg, as that's all I had :)
b&w by channel mixer (Red: 38%; Green: 14%; Blue: 32%; Constant: 20%)
levels
shadows/highlights
hue/saturation (50,15,0)
resize
add border
save for web

Taken last December (not long after I entered my first challenge).

Love the textures and tones in this one. Could be a treasure, could be nuts? Some people think that nuts are treasures... great idea.

I think you succeeded very well in what you were going for. The high contrast really works for this photo. It looks very intentional and artistic! Great job again!

LOL - love the title. Focus looks a tad soft, but the sepia treatment works really well.
