I was trying to use the sunset for natural lighting (all natural no fill flash). There was enough sky reflections to light the right of her face at a lower ratio than the sunset hitting the left(her left) of her face. I wanted a straight on shot with her looking at me but I had a dog and little sister running through the shoot, I only had a few chances to get the capture.

I think it would be interresting if she would hold the cup with both hands...Anyway, congratulations!

Yea! A Top 10, Thank you for all the wonderful comments and votes.
I shot this with my Sigma 28-70 2.8 at dusk in the back yard. My bush had just started sprouting white flowers and I thought it went nice with the outfit. I saw the challenge and just knew I had to enter. My daughter loves tea but she only gets it every now and then so this is actually apple juice. I wanted a lower shot of her looking at the camera but you know kids and I was lucky to get this angle. I did get one or two staight on but a little out of focus. It wasn't long before I got the Daaaaddd!!!! Also as you will see in my outtakes she did a good job of looking serious and she does smile.

The angle you shot this from is nice. It looks a bit blurry, but overall its a good image. Very nice.

I think that this would be stronger if you'd been at her eye level ... or if she were looking up at you ... nice color saturation
