Love the photo... I can maybe understand the underlying message of "culture" The American Dream and the pursuit of oil, though that's not really the American Dream. But what I really fail to understand is where is the "event"?? It's supposed to be a cultural event...

pretty capture but I'm not feeling the title.
IMHO, a pursuit, especially of the American dream, isn't embodied by machines pulling oil out of the ground.

very nice coloring; nice lighting and timing. The plane's contrails kind of distract a little but overall still a very excellent photo.
