I can't vote, but would definitely place this one in the top three. Well done.

Actually a very nice shot; good dof and lighting, but not high impact for me, and not *just because it's a cat*. I like cats a lot, and don't mind shots of cats, but this is what I would think of as a fairly "common" type of cat shot. There is nothing unusual; nothing to really hold my interest; doesn't have an unexpected or dynamic composition that would really make it stand out. None of this is said to be mean, or to hurt your feelings, but merely to say that when shooting something like this, it would be the something "unexpected" that would really make someone stop and say "hey, this is cool".

I like this very much and I have tried to do the same with my two cats but they always bounce around A lovely crisp image

Great shot. How do you get the cat to sit still for a closeup like this? Mine would never stand for it!

A striking portrait. Composition is strengthened by being brave enough to crop tight. The crop means that, for me, the whiskers lead me into the photograph rather than out of it and my focus stays with those mesmerising eyes.

I think this might have had more inpact if you focused mostly on the eyes.

Great detail on this one. The eyes don't have any glare at all. Focus is soft but the detail is there. Nice job!.

More of a port then a Macro, need to get that catch lite.

A little closer would be better. Lighting is very good. (no apostrophe needed in the title, by the way)

Noooo....not another cat! Just kidding - nice focus and composition.
