Trying to capture the moment of expectation as we all watch to see if he's hit the first pitch thrown to him out of the park.

Greetings from Critique Club

I like how small the players are, but from the title you can tell what everyone's doing: watching destiny as home run 744 flies out of the park. DPC, however, doesn't like tiny, which explains your low score. And some of the comments imply that you got low scores from people who don't like Barry Bonds. That's not very fair to you.

The colors are nice, the composition works, but it doesn't have a lot of interest because I've seen this photo a hundred times before. the best thing about it is what I said above, the interaction with the title. You achieved your stated goal.

It is really hard to make out this one - can't really see the ball but his homerun look is unmistakeable. 6

If we were able to rate a zero. Then this photo would receive one. Not for the photo itself, because I like the composition and the color of the contrast but for the simple fact that Barry Bonds, in my opinion as well as many other people's opinions is a cheat and is stealing a record away from someone who genuinely worked hard at the games for the love of the game. If Bonds could have achieved such success in the same manner as those before him without cheating than my hat would go off to him but because he continues to climb ever closer to a record that was achieved by a remarkable human being, by way of cheating. He earns absolutely no respect or admiration from me.

Subject is too far away, and is lost to the crowd.

Nice and clear and colourful. The spread out subject is a bit indistinguishable though especially where they are in front of the crowd. A higher angle would have helped a lot in that respect I think.

Getting great shots at professional sporting events is difficult - especially since we all have to sit in the stands. That being said, this i a nice photo - but the key players are too far away. I know that the challenge is action, but the theme of this photo says green lawn first, then the people in the stands second and thirdly, the players on the field. Great try though.

Very nice and clear, but distant.

I assume you have express written consent from MLB, the San Fransisco Giants, The (other team), Fox, ABC, NBC, ESPN, and the devil himself?
