just wish his face was a little brighter

The subject is too dark and the background looks overexposed.

Good composition, interesting subject. Shadow on his face with the aggressively green background don't quite work for me though I'm afraid.

Great timing and clarity, and I like the close crop for this shot. I wish there were more light on his face, it's very dark, but you can't control where the sun is. The background color seems unnaturally oversaturated.

a tad too dark, can't se his expression

I wish his face wasn't so shadowed. The greens look like they are saturating. 5

Great crop

Striking green, which may be a bit overpowering since I cannot easily make out the features of the man. But excellent capture of a moment in motion!

Nice idea but the exposure is too underexposed.

oomph..

Nice job getting tight on his face to see the expression. It's too bad all these sporting events happen during the middle of the day, when the light is worst. It would be nice if there were less shadow on his face, so that we could see his intense expression better. But still, you've really captured the moment.

Overprocessed IMHO. Face is to dark.

a little underexposed. Otherwise interesting shot.

Oh, this could have been a wonderful photo...and actually it is but it does need a little something... or rather, something taken away.

There is just too much darkness and contrast in the picture. There is great evidence of the determination, thought and hope that is going through this athlete's mind at this moment... but because his face is so dark... you can barely see it.

I know that this is a "basic editing" challenge, but we are still allowed to work with the contrast somewhat.

A beautiful shot, my friend. Please... take this picture and lighten it up and then put it in your portfolio. I would very much like to see it.

more lighting on the face would have been better 5
