this looks great in black and white. the shadow really helps emphasize the curvature of the piece. love the sharp detail of the edges. |

This is really awesome! You'd never know it was an inside shot with that beautiful bokeh background. I love the light and shadows and the wonderful detail in the texture of that weight!
This would make a great print in a contemporary decor. |

I was about to agree that a touch more depth would have added something, then I looked again. I realized I like it as is; there is a slight imperfection in in-focus area of the whatzamacallit, and the light, shadows and tones at that point are excellent. The focus leads you right to it, just like it should. When I stopped looking to make suggestions, and just looked, there was an awful lot to see. Nice. |

Nice study of light and shadow. Just a hair deeper dof would have worked for me to get the whole whatever-it-is in focus while still keeping the backgruond blurred out. Very nice. |

I really like this. I love the tones and the details that are brough out. Simple but has impact. Great DOF. Interesting processing. I will have to try it. |
