lol "did you dig a hole" - i like the perspective. didn't you say this was a rework of another photo? hopefully jack sent some good ideas to unflatten it. nice choice for black and white!

Love the perspective (what did you do, dig a hole???) which makes for a great image

Possibly could have had a bit of tonal/contrast tweaking

It's a tough scene. You can up the contrast but basically this picture is dark tones on top,middle tones on bottom and a splash of white off center. Very little distinction within those 3 areas so it will be hard to keep this from looking like a bit of a wash in black and white. Might look very nice in color.

Hey Deb, Great light in this and good range, Conversion is good also but could use a little more contrast, seems just a bit flat to me, I hope this helps!!
