| I like how this softly emerges from the background, with little delicate touches of light on the petals. The center comp is perhaps not "exciting", but I can't see how you could have composed it any differently where it would have improved things - sometimes a straightforward centered comp is just the way to go, and that's what's happening here. |

| Excellent detail! I love the almost completely dark background...really makes the flower stand out without looking unnatural. |

| Nice shot. Probably would have completely centered it or gone with a more traditional composition, but the textures and tones are very pleasing on the flower. |

| Very nice showing of this flower. I like how the focus fades gently to the back petals. I'm not so sure about the centred composition. |

| Magnifique! I might crop off one side to offset it a bit, but the tones and lighting worked well here. |
