I like how the subject is coming into the photo. The white does look a little washed (pardon the pun) out.

Interesting choice of crop and border. Being that close on top (I'm assuming to cut out the people in the background) may be better balanced by coming in from the bottom as well - possibly at the point where the lane divider comes into focus. Great timing for the capture.

Great stylish shot, works well in B&W although subject feels a little off balance.

Good photo, but he's just outside the thirds line. I don't like the upper and lower border strips.

Nice perspective. I like the position of the crop.

I like how you made it look like a film reel, gives it a real (reel?) sense of movement.

I think if you waited till he got a bit close towards centre frame this would have been a better composition. The timing with the arms and head out of the water is spot on.

I love the fact that you left so much room in front of the swimmer, makes for a great composition. It makes the viewer feel like part of the photo. Great capture. 9

I would have liked this more w/o the black bands across the top, and in color.

Brings back fond memories. My dad was the Univ. of Texas swim coach for 20 years. I can almost smell the chlorine. Nice stop action.

Nice capture, but personally I don't think the border adds anything to the pic.
