Shades and repetition are great

Great detail and texture maintained though the conversion. Very nice.

This is great, love the shadow band in middle.

I was really torn over cropping that top section. I left it in as a reference point for the shadow running across the middle. Looks like I chose wrong. Thanks!

I totally agree re cropping the top section off, as it would make it a much stronger image.....

Cool detail. Crop the edge off the top to make it even better.

Not a bad job of making something interesting from the mundane! Looks like a difficult shot. I would be interested to see a bit more of the top area.

good shaddow play works well for this image

OK DoF isues mentioned. Love the repetitive format with the different shading. Maybe would prefer a tighter crop to lose the very top

Excellent contrast

the shapes and textures are really good in b/w but the DOF seems a bit too shallow - as if almost nothing is exactly in focus except for the very center diamonds.

The light/shadow effect is good. The subject is interesting. I might have widened the focus a bit so there's not so much area that is soft. However, as is, it's intriguing.
