First attempt with my new speedlight sb 600. I think it turned out pretty well. Did a little levels adjustment, brightness/ contrast, unsharp mask. Hope everyone enjoys it.

I didnt vote or even loko at any of the images during this challenge. My first reaction to this was a little laugh. Creative way to get Pi in the image. So you easily met the challenge tahts for sure.
That being said your shot is a bit flat. The table is not really a pleasing aspect to the image and the bottle kind of blends in with it which isnt good either. Overall it has a quickly setup snapshot feel to it. This doesnt usually go over to wel with DPC voters.
But looking now at your comments recieved I think you surely got your desired reaction. I know comments like "haha" and "lol" are not technically really helpful but they are at least some insight that those people enjoyed your image on a certain level. Enough to comment on it even with those few letters.

Interesting idea. Would benefit from better lighting, making the note easier to see. As it is, the colourful label on the bottle seems more the focus of this image.
Haha... i love that! that would be horrible to get a phone number like that. Picture wise, maybe a litle under exposed for me - the bottle kinda gets lost in the background. Otherwise nice though.
Smashing concept. Not enough contrast between the table and the glass. Looks like a tin sitting on the table a couple of inches from the paper rather than a bottle on the paper.
