 We went on a drive through Napa County to take pictures of winery doors. This is a door from Louis M. Martini Winery in St. Helena. This will probably do terribly in a free study, but I liked the colors and couldn't get it together that week to submit to anything else.

The colors are great, and it looks like a neat old building. The tree is kind of strange. It kind of jumps out towards the camera, and compositionally, it's bigger and more centered than it should be. I'm just guessing, but I'm thinking you shot this from close up with a wide angle lens. Shooting with a longer lens from back further might have put things more into proportion. Still, it's a good shot, and I love the colors.

I would prefer this shot from a different angle. Possibly more to the right so that you could get more details of the door in the shot.
