Greetings from the critique club. Congrats on meeting the challenge with the voters and score on the 6+ with this nice image.
A couple of things I'd liked to have seen done to the image during PP to help the scoring would be a reduction in the amount of USM done or some more Neat image to clear up that background noise. It really takes away from what is otherwise a wonderful image. I'd also suggest using a thin white, then just a touch thicker black border to help the image stand out a bit more. Overall pretty well done and again congrats on the finish.
Congratulations, Kashi, on a beautiful picture and an excellent score. The lighting is wonderful, and the focus and DOF are perfect. That new camera is serving you well!
A very nice host Kashi. Love the vibrant colors and the diagonal line/orientation. One thing I notice in your work flow above, you might want to try noise reduction as your first step, this way it doesn't get aggravated by your USM earlier. Just a thought. Still terrific shot. The consistency of your shots has greatly improved, you seem to be turning out high quality photos every challenge.
I would've preferred this to be pictured so that the image enhances the symmetry in the butterfly (though I expect the butterfly's gone by then). Nice image, though I give you a 6 for being relatively standard (not using the challenge to it's potential).
