 Shot about midnight in RAW. The tree was 'painted' using flashlights. White balance adjusted in Capture. Noise ninja, high pass and channel mixer in PS.

We knew the brightest "star" was not a star but Jupiter, however, we did not know that the constellation to the right (west) was Scorpius; this was identified by an astronomer friend of mine upon seeing this picture.

Really nice shot, also like how that one main tree is highlighted and the way the top branches/folliage blend into the sky like a painting. :)

Now, that I know where Scorpius is, i would like to see this constellation from a more close angle. Beautiful colors in the sky
