Used three photos for the image, shot in RAW. Each were cropped and resized within the frame to match. Began with the web and expanded canvas by 2000 pixels on all sides, with a background color of gray. Then added the two cropped side images. Each image was edited individually, using brightness, contrast, noise reduction, color balance and white balance adjustment. Did dodging and burning on all images where necessary. Placed on canvas, then cropped the canvas to be equal around the three images. Added an outline box in black and two lines in black in between the photos. Resized and saved.
PS: See the real story in comments. What is the real meaning to the images and why they are not just 3 independent shots thrown together at my convenience.

This is a very nice Tryptich. You captured it all well and tied it in together nicely.

The Story: I had a hard time with a title, because what I was really going for with the combination could not be conveyed in a title without total confusion. So here is the real title and the story:
Title: Going Home
I was actually talking about the ducks in this case. To the right they are swimming into the pond, and as they swam they went past the web. It was lovely because they were small and very hidden in the fog, but it was lovely. I could not shoot that image because then you would not have seen the web. I chose this combination because I wanted the eye to naturally follow the ducks into the next frame without using an overlap. I believe this was achieved, but you have to be willing to really look into the image. The third panel is the home they are swimming to. That is actually a nesting box for ducks, and this couple live there. So since dp folks don't really spend time viewing an image to really get what its significance is, I used the common theme of fog to connect the images, which is more anal, but that is the way it goes.
Unfortunately it did not do as well as I hoped. I feel that once you read the real story, you will see that this image is truly wonderful. Thanks for those that felt this should have been in at least the front page. Sorry I could not deliver once again.

this compilation is awesome, but I really, really, really like the third picture for some reason. Great lighting!

I like the strange images whose only connection is the fog. Strange hints of a strange story spark between them. 8

I like each picture individually, but it doesn't feel balanced to me - like it's all leaning or pointing to the left, and the branches in the middle picture for me become the focal point instead of the beautiful spider web. I really like the idea behind it all, but separately instead of as a grouping.

All three of these are great shots on their own - especially the one on the right.

nice sequence, nice continuity. I especially like panels 2 and 3, and the proportions of the different shots.

I know there is a whole fog story going on here, but I think I would still rather have seen a bit more colour on the ducks,
