Ohhhhhh. . .my heart breaks for her Erin! I remember when I was 9 or 10, my dad had to go to Viet Nam for a year, and I had the sadness I see in Nora's eyes too. But my dad came back. I'm guessing she thinks about it and still hurts every day of her life! Darn!

She looks worried by something beyond her years, maybe part of her personality now. It is a good capture and the B&W fits perfect with the mood. |
