 This little fellow fell into the water feature in my wifes garden area. We happen to be out while he was still alive. We took him out and set him in the sun, where he was nice enough to pose while he got his bearings back, then hopped away. I knew immediatly after taking it this was FS4-07 entry.


Essentially basic edited in a Expert editing Free Study. Minor color adjustments, clone some sensor dust, sharpen. Only advanced editing was I selective sharpened the eye(I think I went too much) resize and border. Top 100 in a free study is very respectable. Thanks for your votes.

Excellent shot and presentation. He looks so... smug. Not really the word I want but I can't think of another at the moment. Detail is exceptional (I have serious lens envy). I don't think you went overboard on the eye, either. It's so very hard to tell when you edit your own pictures, isn't it? I never go far enough, I think, simply because I see the changes so dramatically.

LOL, you've probably gotten me closer to a frog than I've ever cared to get...very good macro. Great color and clarity. Nicely done!

Great shot, very sharp and clear, good composition. The eye looks a tad over sharpened compared to the rest of the frog.
