What I really like about this photograph is the use of the polarizer, and seeing the river bed.
I just knew I should have lugged the full camera setup to AK. Unfortunately, did not have the I-net connectivity to vote in this challenge due to "travel" commitments, but this would have scored well.

Cool shot! For me though I think I would crop up closer to the first bend in the river, a little to much fore ground for me, just a thought. Great mountains!! very very cool!

I like the composition a ton - it stands out to me as a strong point of this image. As for a weak point, I feel like there is too much yellow. We are used to seeing blue in the sky and water, and being gray sort of makes me feel like there is a little bit "wrong" with the image. If I give it more thought, then there is nothing wrong with the color - it's just maybe going through all the landscapes pretty quickly, your eye is used to seeing a certain thing.

The thing that I am most impressed by is the strong focus in the front of the image but also such great detail in the mountains. That really draws me in and makes me feel like I am really there looking at this, which is so awesome.
