Same model as my Rule of Thirds Entry...Plus another, obviously.

We worked diligently on getting the poses to work with a square composition, which is my favorite crop. These two are friends, drove a long way to shoot with me and it was a lot of fun working with them. I have a ton of images from a marathon session, so I will upload some more after voting. It was great because we did a variety of shots, locations, both studio and natural lighting-which by the way is so much fun. I almost always use strobes and flashes, but natural light is so easy to work with if you take the time to find the right spot...definitely something I am going to explore more in the future. I am entering this into the Free Study, because studio and model work is still something I am learning and hope to receive plenty of constructive criticism. Thanks guys!

By the way, the last couple of "Expert Editing" challenges I went over the top to mixed success. This time, this editing was borderline basic, with just a touch of dodge and burn to make it creep over to advanced. Nothing too crazy this time.

Once again, excellent shot!! And I love their eyes...adds a bit of mysterious or even exotic flavor. Keep up the good work!!

I really like the shot, except the model laying down is trying to look too far upward and this makes her eyes look a little strange. Her hand and forearm being out of focus is somewhat distracting too, but I understand the DOF problems that can cause this. Overall, I really think you did an excellent job and hope you do well. 9

Only issue I see is the bottom one's eyes. It looks strange with almost no iris showing.

Fantastic models and composition. The only thing that lets it down is the 'halo' created by the background not being burnt out enough. good luck, 7

Nice but a little too soft focus on the nearest hand/arm for me. Little bit too shallow dof for my tases I guess. Otherwise, great photo.

Nice shot... sensual and unnerving at the same time.

I feel like the gradient in the background is too strong - my eye keeps seeing its outline; and there's something kinda freaky about both their eyes. Overall great photo, though.
