colours seemed very washed out.... increasing the contrast will help alot. In my opinion, there are also alot of distraction around the art piece u are trying to put into the limelight. Perhaps, closing in towards the artpiece and hence throwing the trees, lamp post etc out of the frame will help viewer focus more. Cheers.

Unfortunately, my eye is drawn to the background items like the people, the cars, the bus stop, and the sidewalks.

nice idea, but picture looks a bit washined out. and the background is a little too busy for simplicity. Maybe it would have been more effective if you tried a closer shot perhaps vertically of the sculpture.

You should have make the background blurred (if possible with your camera) to make the sculpture stand out.

I really think there needs to be more control over depth of field for this shot. There is so much in the picture, it's too difficult to isolate one subject, and it's definitely too much to be a "simple" shot. I think there is potential in the subject matter, but it has to fill the frame and be presented with an interesting angle.

I wonder how many people know what this is? Seems incongruous in this setting - and the angle of the shot doesn't lend itself to understanding. I had to look at it for several seconds before it registered. A little fuzzy seeming to me.
