 a baby maple tree that I ripped out of my garden, roots and all. I brought it in on my ironing board for the blue contrast with the red leaves.

Poor baby tree lol. Ok I do love the contrast in colors. The red against the blue really is a great comparison. Now for my own personal taste, I would like to see the leaves sharp and in focus, as if to suggest that the leaves were just kind of floating in detachment from the rest of the picture. That again, is my own opinion, and the way I am feeling today, may not be worth much. It is certainly an eye-catching photo. Nice!
