 I was in the studio shooting my sons playing in the bubbles for the challenge and noticed a big clump of bubbles that was created on the bubble machine I was using. I thought it might make a cool shot and, although there were a couple of great shots of my kids, this one was what I chose.

PP: Raw conversion. Levels, Curves, Sharpen, pumped the saturation, cropped and sized for web.

Greetings from the Critique Club!

Initial impression - first thing I thought was "this must be from the bubbles challenge" so I'd say you definitely met the challenge criteria! It's a bit jumbled, but the title suits it well with all the colors scattered throughout.

Technically, there doesn't seem to be a particular area of clear focus, which for an abstract isn't always required, but in this case might have helped a bit. The large light reflection in the top left middle dominates but doesn't really provide a point of interest.

Keep shooting and entering - your "Still" shot takes my breath away!

oooh it's a very pretty kaleidescope! i wish that one bright part was not there because there is a lot of beauty in this pic!

A kaleidoscope indeed... It just seems a little chaotic, but I am at a loss as to how you could fix it. If the whole image had had the clarity that the bubbles in the bottom right have then I think this would have been a really fab image.

Cool abstract! The lighting is a little harsh though, the highlights are rather blown-out and overly white. Excellent try though! Very good.

Lovely shimmery bright colors. Interesting. The glare hurts my eyes some though. Great title.

What a great shamozel of colours and the title is very fitting. For me it would have been better if there could have been a bubble that stood out as a subject a little more than the others. I love this shot.
