Spent the afternoon wandering around Minnehahe park in Minneapolis. Its on the light rail route so I spend a lot of time there. I was following a Kingfisher and found this fox skeleton. It seems to be complete, and entirely stripped clean. I can't figure out why none of it got carried away (by predators or people).
In the middle of my fascination with the skeleton a Great Blue Heron landed across the creek, (crappy shots. Too far away)then the geese showed up. I never did get a good look at the kingfisher.
Going back next weekend. Need to buy a teleconverter for the p&s.
