Fantastic photo. My only suggestion would be to crop off half of the calm sea water at the bottom.

The processing has given this a painterly feel. Based on the loss of detail in the clouds I suspect some NI? The bird in the upper-left keeps pulling my eye over that way. Could be good, or not...I find it a little distracting personally. The reflections in the water help offset the centered horizon. What are the small black dots just over the horizon on the right? Extremely distant birds, or sensor dust spots? I'd have cloned those out. Overall, it's a nice image. Good luck in the challenge.

I really love this picture, since I lived a large portion of my childhood in Hawaii the ocean has gained a special spot in my heart! GREAT!
