Haha! They do lay in wait, hanging from my big maple tree, but only for the peanuts (in shell) that I toss them (which is what you see in his mouth). They come daily at 6:30, not a minute before even if I offer - 3 pairs of them. Quick little suckers. Facing the other way is mainly a problem in late summer when they've been busy feasting on mulberries. Ew.
Or maybe it's just a cutout and a shower curtain. ;)

| Are the birds after you? He's there lying in wait, ready to drop the bomb on your head and you sneak out the back door and take aim from stage right (or is it left). That's a mean ambush. Or is it just a cardboard cutout and an old Wal-Mart batik shower curtain you're trying to impress us with? Be careful he's not facing the other way in future ;-) |
