A very nice shot of glass. I like the shadowing and lighting set up. It really brings it to life for me. With just a "simple" shot, something I admire.

A typical training assignment at photo school - the lecturer can examine lighting, angles, the lot. This is a first-rate submission. I'd like to see the background just a micro-dab less bright, but then (after seeing the shot less bright) I might well decide that this submitted exposure level is perfect.

Very very nice shot, I tried to do a shot similar to this with wine glasses for the shapes challenge, but ended up with something very different. I never even thought about using martini glasses, well done. Looks like you got some glare or reflection on three of the glasses though, you might have had to push your lighting source further under the table (if that's how you lit it, and if not how did you light it?). If you wanted to add some color to the shot you could have done so using the hue/saturation adjustments in PS, that's how I did it in my Shapes entry. Very nice nontheless 9!

I just took another look at your shot, and realized that I didn't read the title. HAHA ignore what I said about the reflections/glare lol. Nice shot again!

Personally, I think the two glasses on each side that are just out of frame are distracting. Still like the photo though. Focus and lighting are excellent. 9

I am so drawn to the sides- was that the idea?

Technical: Most all images submitted fit the challenge. This one does well. Exposure composition focus lighting all good.

Personal: Took me a sec to figure out what was odd.... subtle, I like it.

Does the title refer to the second shot glass from the right with the odd shaped bottom? If not then I don't get it. A good photo though.
