Well I had a lot of fun with this...

HOW I DID IT: Put the camera on the tripod, set the timer and basically moved around the table to pose. If I had more time, this is where I would have thought about things a little more.

EDIT: Basically used layer maskes and piled the images one on top of the other. A final duotone over the edited image, some dodge and burn, some USM, Noise Nina and resize, Smart Sharpen and Canvas for a black border. Took a couple of hours all up. Again, if I had more time, I would have done better with the edit.

PREDICTION: I am not sure how this will go...I might get picked on for DNMC becuase of the lack of hair, or there could be some purists who don\\\'t like expert editing, or the editing itself might get picked on.

In the end, have a laugh, because it was all about fun. Mid 6\\\'s would make me happy.

POST: 8th is great...fantastic. I know the distortion in the lens is not good, but I had a window behind me and no more room to move and had to shoot at 10mm.

As for the booze, I had no idea it was such a popular drink. I grabbed the bottle at the last minute from my son's room thinking it looked like a good 'potion' bottle. I got a kick out of the comments about that...just a couple of drops of Jagermeister and your hair will grow backm try it, you'll see!

I probably should have gone for colour...here is the outtake:

You be the judge...

Hehehe... love that you managed to score this highly without actually involving hair. Sometimes a bit of creativity and a good title really will get you over the hump. Well done.

By the way - the colour version is not nearly as effective.

Great! I was intrigued by the shot & by the idea of Jaeger as hair tonic: does one drink it or apply liberally to affected areas? Nice Top 10 finish!

HAHAHAHA... not one strand of hair in sight and you place in the top 10. Now that's an achievement! ;-)

Enzo, this is absolutely genius! And I actually prefer the sepia toned one. Congratulations on your front page placement!

The B&W version is 50X better than the color. If you had gone with it in color I think you would not be in 8th...well done and creative.

Bet you had fun with this one!!! Everything would be grand if you could have made all of the 'extras' less distorted. Clarity is okay, just the distortion detracts from the overall effect.

What a cool idea, tho I don't think Yagermeister will help them with their problems :P

I love the idea

Yet no one is applying this new product..great image. Love the aspect. Detail and coloration are excellent. It's nit-picky, but the shirt bothers me on the guy in the right foreground. :P Nice job! 8

Very clever! I like this!My only copmlaint is that a few of the people look almost skewed and distorted, namely the two fellows in the back right, and the farthest guy to the back, more towards the left. Not sure why this is... but it's only a minor detail! :) Very neat, creative idea!

Does it really work, putting Jägermeister on your head?
Only when it's ice and ice cold eh?

Cool combo. :)

Looks like kiwiness in a remake of the "cloning" one. Great composition. My favorite in the challenge - not bad for a hair challenge with a photo of 6 bald men :)

I found this to be a very captivatin image that fit well into "hair" and "expert editing". I like the complex nature of such a simple image and the ironic feel.

The photo-shoot paid off - great idea. It's funny that you are testing the viewer - many of whom will say "He uses a giant cell phone and rubs Jaegermeister on his head which he's trying to market as hair growth stuff". LOL

Great! What can I say? DNMC ;) I can't see hair of any kind here, but still this is my favorite picture of the challenge! It is technically perfect, and I like very much the distortion from the wide angle... the poses are fantastic and in the composition there's a lot of movement without making it messy. Wonderful, I wish I was able of having ideas like this and, what's more, to bring them to such a flawless execution.
