Taken at a local neighborhood park, beautiful sunny day, a bit windy, but otherwise a very easy shot to capture. Tweaked the color balance, contrast, brightness and gamma in Photoshop.

Composition here is great, and it's a lovely waterfall! What I would do to improve this type of shot is slow down the shutter speed (try 1-2 seconds). You'll need a steady place to mount your camera, but it's worth it. You also may have to take the shot when the sun isn't directly hitting the water.

These kind of shots always look better to me taken at a longer shutterspeed, they just look so "snapshottish" otherwise, sorry :(

would have been awesome if it wasnt out of focus, or maybe if it was a long exposure

This looks like a cool little stream, but the sun makes things too bright. Overcast days are the best to photograph water (check out the tutorial on waterfalls).

too many rocks just don't look sharp...

Very harsh lighting. Probably a product of shooting midday. A nice intimate view. 5

Not too shabby, i know nothing about shooting water, but i think you might get a more desireably photo by decreasing shutter speed to give that popular washed out look... and is that a hint of a brick wall in the back? could be better, (but it is better than i could do...) i rate a 7
