A fine effort it looks like HDR and it works fine for me. The tree in particular come over well.

Sorry but the look of this image doesn´t appeal to me, whatever was done in post processing doesn´t agree with me personally. Voted a 3.

We're supposed to vote low on entries that are not photographic in nature. I like the picture, but I'm not sure that it fits the spirit of the Expert Editing ruls as I understand them.

Interesting processing. The foreground is too busy for me, it takes attention from the landscape/horizon which should be the main focal point of the picture. I would crop it square, leaving the upper part of the picture.

Too obviously processed IMO.

Whether on purpose or not it looks like an oil painting. Renoir? Interesting abstraction.

Excellent composition and I really like the perspective. Not sure on the editing, but I do like the picture, and I guess the editing contributes to that!

I like the pp on this, almost a painting feel to it. I also like the curve to the shoreline.

I like the colors and the watercolor effect of this image. I don't know how well it will do but I still like it and I wish you luck.

way way over processed
04/19/2007 02:02:04 PM
personally, for me the processing isn't really appealing ... I'd love to see this shot the way the camera recorded it ... I like the subject and the composition ...

I can't decide whether or not I like the colors. They are really interesting. The softer focus works well too.

Interesting 'postcard' effect, the sky seems too greenish on my monitor.
Generally a good adventure into more dramatic processing w/out going overboard.
