 I was on my way home after a phototrip in July last year, when I saw some horses near the road. I decided to stop and take some photos. The horse in the photo stood aside from the other horses and if he tried to come near them they attacked him and drove him away. When I came near, this lonely horse came to me and was obviously pleased to have some friendly company. I stayed there for an hour and he followed me every step I took. When I left and was walking back to my car I saw him standing there on the cliff, alone..

Ah I feel really bad for this lonely horse and your story about him. The photo is excellent though, captures the title.

Ahhh...such a sad story! Very neat photo...the sky is so much more than just negative space, it creates a great leading line back to the poor pony. Very nice!
