I love my northen lights and as strange as it may seem they are not that often here in Iceland. All winter there has only been one good night and I did not go out :-( and about 4-5 ok nights. There are so often clouds in the skys.

I agree. Unfortunately the overpowering green is what most people seem to like. Makes me sad that this didn't finish higher.

Wow. A northern lights photo that doesn't feel processed to death. I like that. From someone who is bored with seeing northern light photos in general, you get a 10!

Damn you Northerners! *shakes fist* ;) Beautiful exposure of the sky and good choice of relatively short shutter speed to keep the stars looking like stars. I only wish that the foreground was lighter. If it's an option next time, take the shot somewhere that's snowy. Snow does a GREAT job of lighting up under moonlight. :)

Aurora can be tricky, it seems a bit overexposed but that is not too distracting the composition is good and the lighting otherwise spot on.

This by far is the best of the northern lights in this challenge. The green does not overpower the shot, like the others. You can still see the blue in the sky and the reflection. Nice job. One of my favs for this challenge.
