 This picture clearly did not turn out. However, it is considered so extremely rare to capture a picture of a fisher that it is my most prized shot. I am planning to try to clean it up at some point to remove the colour fringing and remove the branch and grass.

hello, I was doing a search for a fisher, because, like you said, it's very rare to capture such a thing. unfortunately, this is not a fisher, it's a mink. i know, as i am a trapper, and have caught both fisher and mink, and i can definately say that that's what it is and isnt'.
on the other hand, i do like the shot :) it's very cool to catch a mink on camera as well.

i like the softness of it, i think it lends a magical aura to the composition.
