 Cyrus is one of this year's project horses. He's only 2 1/2 years old, a cross between a Thoroughbred and a Saddlebred (with maybe some Arab in there too). He's 16:1 and truly as skinny as he looks...partly because he's so growthy and lack of quality groceries growing up. He basically grew up in the wild, had barely been handled when I first began working with him. Now he knows how to lead and is learning to tolerate grooming, picking up his feet etc. Eventually he will be a superb horse - he's very intelligent, learns quickly - but I likely won't get on him until the end of this summer at the very earliest.

BTW the blur is mine, I had the ISO set too low.

Hi Susan,
I want to go horsebackriding with you sometime! I grew up in Montana riding Western style - looks like you ride English? Anyway, been around horses much of my life and miss them now. Cyrus is a gorgeous animal!
