 Taken during a day of various macro work, this is one of my wife's necklaces. It is actually a very fine chain that I managed to magnify quite a bit by mounting my Pentax f/1.4 50mm lens backwards on the end of my 135mm. I was using this set-up to capture shots of snowflakes on glass & figured I'd have a go at some shots for the Chains challenge.

I wasn't sure if I was going to come out with anything worth entering, but as I began processing this one, I found myself really liking it, but apparently there are plenty here at DPC that didn't share my thoughts on it. Regardless - this is one of my favorite images & will certainly be featured in my portfolio.

nice lighting and great dof. I thought this was a slam dunk for fitting in on this site. I guess the shot had too much mood.

I like how the shot is focused - I'm partial to abstracts, and I think how you framed this is very appealing.
