I originally wanted to use a timing chain, but I couldn't get my hands on for quickly enough. I looked up chains on the internet, made a list of all kinds of chains. The next day, my cat was playing with a snake in the front yard...then I thought of this.

looking back on it now, I see that the black spots didn't look that good. I thought they looked like hills before. You know, like a snake going thru the hills, or black sand... oh well, live and learn.

I feel this could have been better if the chain were in focus and the dark circle on the lower left of the frame were not there as it is distracting.

Focus needs work. Foreground shadow quite distracting.

This needs more DOF

Could be better without the black part.

looks like a snake, did you meant to do this on purpose?

Lovely idea, but that lower left hand shadow is a killer, shame about the very shallow DoF as well, still in a challenge where there seems to have not been masses of creativity kudos for the concept

Look's to be OOF and I find the dark leftcorner distracting.

I think the idea is good. It does look like a snake, but it seems quite a bit oof for me, and the shadow in the lower left corner is distracting, to me.

The idea is great, the big 'ol shadow on bottom left is distracting though.
