In case anyone wondered, this is an image you get when you're bored from being stuck inside revising, you see a contest that calls for metaphorical chains, and you say to yourself: "Oh, I know, I'll come up with the most pretentious metaphor I can think of, then stick it into an image I can take in my bedroom in 15 mins. How about the free will vs determinism debate? Ah, go on, everyone likes a bit of determinism. Hmm, is it pretentious enough? I think not. I'll throw in a hint of social and marital obligation, and a spatter of Marxist rebellion against the oppression of the working class. Voila."

The score serves me right really :)

Not sure what the delusion is, if the chain was around her ring finger perhaps then... I dont understand the oil either. hmm I'll have to trust you on all that. the focus looks like it could have been sharper but the lighting looks good. good luck
