This is a candid shot I took at Rivercenter Mall on the riverwalk yesterday, so I have no idea who it is. One of my favorite things to do is walk around in downtown San Antonio, unnoticed, and just search out interesting faces. Sometimes I ask them if I can take their picture, but sometimes, I'm far away and just use my mega zoom lens and just take the picture unnoticed. I like it better that way because once someone knows they are being photographed, they don't look the same. . .they get all posed and awkward looking.

I just thought he looked very interesting. He was so intense, but had piercing eyes. He was sitting in front of a very dark area, so all I had to do was run a draganazer action over it and it took care of finishing off the already dark background.

Really great capture! And the grunge is perfect for this image. He looks like he is figuring it out. Or he is looking at a girl. :-P

Definately drawn to the eyes. Then the mother in me starts noticing the holes in his head and the tat, and I have to wonder what's hurting him.

Great picture Sandy.

Wow Sandy, what a candid specialist you are. You have produced so many outstanding candid shots in the time that I've known you, and they just keep getting better. This one is one of your finest. Excellent editing. It almost looks like you had studio lights on him, in the way you captured the light on his face. Very very nice!

Brilliant! Especially for a candid! Slight motion blur on the arm but those eyes are so grabbing its hardly noticeable :)

i love the contrast between the darkness of his "look" and the lightness of his face relative to the background...

Such intence eyes. That's what grabs me. I love his eyes. I would also like to know what a draganazer is and where to find one. :)

Really good candid shot, Sandy. The touch of draganizer makes a great finish. Can sometimes be very helpful - not taking anything away from you though!
