Novel idea. I'm not sure how well soft focus goes with science IMHO. But "soft" or fun science can be a wonderful way to lead people into learning. I like the light on your subject's hair - the soft focus works well there making her hair seem to glow. I wish there were more light on her face - then the soft focus there would make her sking seem to glow - but without the light it really only loks outof focus to me.
