4.8?!?!? that's bull****! Sorry you got screwed on this one. great idea. I actually voted on this and never even realized who she was which is not cool concidering Odyssey is still in love with her and asks often when she'll see her again. We live in Mississippi now so probably never, but she still asks. and I doubt she'll ever stop asking. lol :P

Very beautiful. I like the look on her face and I think the blinding light from her sex is a fun touch.

You got shafted on this one. And why haven't you been bringing her to the GTGs?

I wish this had a lighter backdrop and a darker foreground for the contest, but on its own its a 9

One of the most interesting and provocative submissions. Pure studio nudes wouldn't normally come to mind as a subject for contre-jour but you pulled it off in a most fascinating and appropriate way. There probably will be a few, not many, voters that feel studio shots cannot be contre-jour but the quality of your image will carry the day. Your model is attractive, you flattered her in composition, particularly with her facial lighting. BW is good and tones are excellent. Sharpness is just right. Great job!

I wont comment abt the technicalities because from that perspective you nailed it, but it looks so obvious that she is holding the light between her legs. That takes a little way from the photo.

like the strategic placing of the light, but the piercings are not tasteful in the least bit.

I’m just not feeling that this is within the Contre-jour technique. Nice shot just not what I think when I’m looking for Contre-jour. Although this I think is every man's dream to find one that glows like that! WOW!!!

If you google contre-jour images, you see one very similar to this. Nice clear B&W.

I think I just about got myself fired for looking at this. Haha. It's very nice though. I love the clarity. Good use of b&w.

Holding a flashlight isn't creating the true sense of contre jour. There should be a light source illuminating her entire back, not the mottled backdrop. The shadow on the left is behind her and it should be in front. If I were critiquing this as just a "normal" photo, I'd have her move away from the background, eliminating the shadow altogether. She's lovely and the tones and contrast are right, but to me, this does not meet the definition of the challenge.

Haha, this will create an outcry from the anti-nudity DPC'ers. I am giving this a 10 to offset the 1's you're going to get. As far as the photo, the background is a bit distracting, a black background would have worked better in my opinion.
