What a cool and dynamic place to photograph, the winding pathways are really cool. I don't know if it would be possible but this would have a stronger effect if there were no people I think. Maybe try going by there right at sunrise and catching some fog or something. ?

I remember walking...or running...on that when I was like 8 years old. Fun times, great shot
