duplicated layer, soft light (lowered the opacity to about 25), slight gaussian blur round edges. Merged layers. Duplicate layer, sharpened, lowered the opacity to about 50%. Cropped with 5x7 ratio. Curves adjustment layer, gradient mask so that it just lightened the face slightly on the front cheek. Flipped the layer cos .....just kinda liked it that was.
