This is a very enchanting photo. It definitely brings back my own memories of the magic of reading books at a young age. The composition could be tighter, maybe with a narrower depth of field to provide a sense of scale or depth as well, but the colours and lighting here are very well done.
Except for this being a little too dark, I really like this photo. Nice degree of business, w/o clutter. Nice background, too bad about the green wheat over the book, seems fuzzy, I think due to the beard (I know the focus is good, it's an illusion created by the beard of the wheat.) 9 Swash
Interesting idea. A little dark overall. The dragon is blocking one of the musrhooms and because he is dark is blending a little into the darkness of the grass behind.
While this shot seems technically lacking (it seems a bit dark and dreary) I REALLY like the subject matter, and the "darkness" contributes to it. 8 -lennier
