| I really like this. It's a shame it didn't score better (though I'm not surprised dpc voters didn't like it). I love the black and white, the dof, and the grain. Very old-school. |

| I really like the feel of this shot. Reminds me of an older sports photograph and it works perfect. A nice change from the tack sharp and perfectly lit standard of dpc. 8 |

| Nice photojournalistic style. Can definitely see this one in a newspaper. Seems a bit dark, and perhaps foucs could have been just a little better, but if he was booking, then the stop action would have been done with a higher shutter speed. Still, it is such a classic style with the grain, that I give it a 7 |

| Wow. Less grain and more light would've been fantastic. I would've done it in color, but that's me. It's a nice capture. |
