This was one of my favorites Mary! What beautiful photography! The golden tones in the background are so pretty and they bring out the tiny bit of gold on the bird. And I'm always amazed when someone has one of these bird photos where you can see every single little feather.

| This shot has excellent lighting and tones. The atmosphere is wonderful. Only pitty the eye and beak or not in foces. If the DOF would've been deeper, to get the whole bird in focus, would then let down the great bokeh this shot has. Kind of a coin toss. Guess it didn't wanna pose that day ;) |

| Wow! Now THAT is a standout bird picture! I never ever get tired of stunning photography. . .even tho there are quite a few bird pictures in this challenge. . .this one stands out takes my breath away. It's the colors. And the detail and razor sharp texture! It is AWESOME! |

| Good shot. I like the composition and detail in the bird. I also like the how the color of the background pulls out the little bit of orange in the bird. |

Right then, joke's on me as I now have to plough through 564 images and bump them all (yes, all of them) up. There'll be a third run through for fine tuning.
