 A favourite haunt of mine a mile or two from my office, kinda on the way home (if I cycle the much longer but nicer way).

Was nice to make the most of the extra hour of daylight, watched the sun set over the lakes and shot some birds (photographically speaking)

Lovely colours in the sunset. A pity about the lens flare, but nothing you could have done about it in "basic editing" :-)

If only the ducks would have stayed still for you. Try feeding them bread next time, really, really heavy bread :- )

The ducks convey dinamics for me instead of stillness. I'm almost leaving the softness and flare alone.

did your UV filter create the additoinal reflection of the sun to the right?

Nice warm glow in the orange range of this image. I like the long sun flare in the sky but not the "too hot" spot on the water. Basic edit, if otherwise, I'd like to see this with the "too red" sun flare over the water cloned out.
