I quite like this shot... a different take on the challenge certainly. I think it may not do well in the challenge.. but I see where you were going with the idea.

In the end it is a little to grainy and there is no point of sharp focus.

Gotta love it! We had one dog, a great dane, who would wake up every morning and shake like this. Her ears hitting the sides of her head sounded like machine gun fire. I don't know how she could stand it. Some mornings I couldn't stand it, either :-)

Now, on to the picture....it's not a bad snapshot, but it's very noisy. I'm guessing you were in a place with poor light, using a high ISO, and that's where the noise comes from. Using something like neat image won't work for a shot like this, because you want to retain the texture of the dog's fur. The only real option you have is to get more light, either by using a flash, or by going outside.
