 I took a series of shots for my photography project of my friend Sarah. They're supposed to be on-location portrait shots. So. here ya go. She has a horse. And it's huge.


I thought it fit well since this topic is so open-ended.

oh. and p.s. I've never done digital before so yea, I'm still getting used to my camera (hence the extreme blownout-ness of it all)

Fit: That's a tought one...does the image convery stillness? In a way it does but at first glance it looks like she is walking the horse. This may have garnered a few DNMC votes.

Composition: Splitting the frame with two strong elements is risky as the viwer doesnt know where to look.

Technical: The background is lit up a lot. As some commenters noted, this can be distracting. It also seems your focus was on the horse, not the girl. I think the other way around would have been better.

Feel: Despite what I have said above, I like this shot. Focus on the girl and I may have voted it a 6!

The odd angle of the girls feet bugs me a little. I like the idea here but wish it were more clear what they were "just before"
